Vauban manages several projects by using the Oracle BI technology mainly in the financial sector.

BI module for Manufacturing

The technology used is depending of each client’s licensing strategy. Vauban can work as integrator to design reporting by suing distinct technologies as SAP BW, Oracle OBI ODI, Cognos, Microsoft BI Services, Qlikview etc. For optimizing the delivery and the cost, Vauban set up a predefined reporting and dashboard module for manufacturing companies in Romania. Reports are mainly used for production KPIs and finance management. Datamining and scores calculations are performed in order to manage predictive analysis for sales, order management and stock optimization.

Modelling
Predictive Decision Maker for GIS extracts the most relevant variables for explaining a phenomenon in order to build an explanatory and predictive model. The decision maker can then compare the theoretical values generated by the model with reality, focus on over-performance factors and highlight potential development reserves that have been insufficiently tapped.
Segmentation
The module enables homogeneous groups of places or territories (cantons, postal areas, communes, IRIS, points of sale, sales sectors…) to be created and the similarities between the members comprising these groups understood. The solution suggests a typology and displays it on the map within a few seconds. The typology thus created can have many operational uses (benchmark, local customisation of communication, geomerchandising...).

Datamining and scores calculations are performed in order to manage predictive analysis for sales forecasting, order management and stock optimization. Some analysis can be performed for clients’ group, churn and loyalty card programs.
